Hello,

I don't have many customers right now still a reseller however all of my sites are business sites some are big companies and some little ones we have not had any personal sites as of yet well just had one about a month ago and well you can see the post below on what happened it was a stolen credit card. Is it wise to just offer business hosting no personal hosting or you think I would lose a lot of potentional customers?

I'm going to be putting a lot of time into this promotion etc within the next two months as I need to get ready to get my own server I already know how to handle support etc

I would say that 99% of your sites will be business whether you put a restriction or not. Most people who want a personal site will go with free hosting.

Not realy..

I would say it is more like 60% buisness and 40% personall.

There are people that pay for personall sites, you just have to find them.

In my opinion, there is a lot of people that pay for hosting wihtout having company. Lack of knowledge sometimes, sometimes they need more then what a free account offer..

This is true, however it will all depend on your target markets. Catering to small and medium sized businesses is your number 1 bet. In some cases, personal sites tend to be alot of trouble, I am not saying all, and every customer should be worth your time. So as others have said, if you market correctly you will have business customers any which way you slice it.

I find 3 things funny here:

1) The thread is 6 years old
2) Back then, guests were allowed to post
3) The first replier to this thread is member #126 - WOW :D
