When I create a user; lets call him sales@domain. Upon sucessful completion of adding the user, I can go to a service like mail2web.com that checks remote POP3 accounts and I can sucessfuly retrieve email. However when I use Outlook 2002 it says I need to check my login and password... I know this is correct, what is the problem???

It's really aggarvating to use someone elses site to rely 100% for email (especially since they can log EVERYTHING!)

Something isn't right. Do you have the correct servername, username, passowrd? It would seem to be a typo somewhere.

outlook 2002! ahhhh.

but yeah. make sure you're settings are right. be sure you have your mail server settings correct for the domain and so forth...

that's odd that it would work on a remote pop3 client, but not with outlook 2002. you should try another remote pop3 such as yahoo and if the same settings are working with yahoo, then i'd definately say it's a problem with how you're setting up outlook 2002.

or try another local pop3 client.

http://www.pocomail.com/ is a great one. and no, i'm not paid by pocomail to mention them.
