Have you noticed that there are some people that are forever in the lounge? Its like they only post right here. You see them posting once on the other forums but then come right back here.

You see them posting once on the other forums but then come right back here. netsolutions 11-27-2001, 04:38 PM I've noticed that a lot. That's why I try to go around Technical issues and Running a web hosting biz forums a lot. I like to post help in those forums the most. I do some in Dedicated servers to. mahinder 11-27-2001, 04:51 PM netsolutions one_web  i see you guys most . . . :D :cartman: One Web 11-27-2001, 04:59 PM no we are not JustinK 11-27-2001, 05:14 PM I spread myself out a bit. There's just less hammer throwing in here. :) A lot of the stuff I can't really throw in useful info with the other forums so I try and keep myself from replying and just bogging down the threads. In here it's mostly chat topics. netsolutions 11-27-2001, 05:26 PM netsolutions one_web i see you guys most . . . You may see us a lot in here yes, however you will also see us a lot in the other forums. I think the message was directed at people who only post in this forum. Dahlia 11-27-2001, 09:53 PM i'm probably one of those people you see only in the lounge :stickout truth is, i spend the entire day doing hosting duties or answering support questions that when i come here after my shift ends i tend to not want to read or answer to much technical type threads.. kicking back in the lounge is more relaxing, hanging around where other people are that do what i do all day is also somewhat comforting. how many people in real life do you know that are involved in hosting and that you can relate your day with to? i know 3 and i work with them so it doesn't really count.. the other social circles i get myself into ask "what's this hosting stuff you speak of?" akashik 11-28-2001, 01:17 AM I tend to show up, start at the bottom and work my way to the top, then go somewhere else. My fiancee' has taught herself to just nod and go "Uh-huh.", in the right places. Before I came here I was always in places like astalavista.box.sk, google, hotscripts.com and so on.. Now I'm just addicted.... :) The entire site is a relaxation spot..... :) Cheers.. Amar  mdrussell 11-28-2001, 05:35 PM I normally alternate between starting reading the topics at the top, and working to the bottom, and working through from the bottom to the top... netsolutions 11-28-2001, 05:46 PM Who wouldn't get addicted to this board? I focus a lot of my energy in Running a web hosting biz forum and web hosting forum and of course the lounge. Nice to kick back some times and talk about nothing.
