View Full Version : Steps to make children...
phpcoder 05-17-2004, 10:54 PM I found this posted on another message board I visit and found it quite interesting so I am posting it here:
A German couple who went to a fertility clinic after eight years of marriage have found out why they are still childless - they weren't having sex.
The University Clinic of Lubek said they had never heard of a case like it after examining the couple who went to see them last month for fertility tests.
Doctors subjected them to a series of examinations and found they were both apparently fertile, and should have had no trouble conceiving.
A clinic spokesman said: "When we asked them how often they had had sex, they looked blank, and said: "What do you mean?".
"We are not talking retarded people here, but a couple who were brought up in a religious environment who were simply unaware, after eight years of marriage, of the physical requirements necessary to procreate."
The 30-year-old wife and her 36-year-old husband are now being given sex therapy lessons while the university clinic undertakes a study to try to find out if there are more couples with a similar lack of sex education.

Is there a How-to that explains that process? Does that mean they had to touch eachother or something?
(At this point I should probably note that I am joking.)

Hostex Australia 05-17-2004, 11:30 PM lol, never thought about this happening ;)
Aussie Bob 05-17-2004, 11:32 PM Good golly.

Oh well, I think they will get the hang of it ;)
Q_Max 05-17-2004, 11:48 PM That's crazy. And to think most 5-year olds in America know what sex is thanks to media propoganda. Did that couple not own a television or something? :stickout:
RajanUrs 05-17-2004, 11:48 PM "What do you mean?"
Isnt it the job of the bees to cross pollinate the couple ?
And the stork is supposed to deliver the baby ?
:D
BennyG 05-18-2004, 01:03 AM Sex for Dummies
Sasan 05-18-2004, 01:09 AM Isn't it basic human instinct though? and did these people have absolutely no contact with the outside world?
what did they except to happen, have her wake up on day with a baby inside?
BennyG 05-18-2004, 01:18 AM Even animals know how to mate, still confused
chrisranjana 05-18-2004, 06:19 AM fantastic :D

indiaberry 05-18-2004, 10:16 AM LOL!
They taught us about sex right when I was 11 years old in 6th grade at school to me and the rest of giggling students.
AT least now they know how to have sex.

Dummies shouldn't be allowed to have sex.
Amdac 05-18-2004, 10:33 AM I honestly don't believe that article. There are some stupid people in the world, but that seems like a bit too much. It's impossible to not pick it up from TV, radio, social contact, their parents, etc. Especially not at 30 and 36.
I wouldn't really trust the source of the article either.
rockergrrl 05-18-2004, 11:20 AM I guess they thought what happened to Mary would happen to them... Immaculate Conception...
LOL
Crazy stuff....
I don't see it so far fetched. In some households, people were taught sex is bad, and not to talk about it.
Kerry Jones 05-18-2004, 12:24 PM Well obviously Germany needs to have sex education classes. On the other hand I have my own instructions for having a child.
6 AM - Quickie before work
Noon - Lunch & Sex
6 PM - Dinner & Sex
Midnight - Cuddle & Sex
Repeat
:D
Maybe she thought should would be another virgin mary and have another jesus pop on out. :)
anlene 05-18-2004, 12:46 PM Pure world :)

Well, i'd say trusting the UK's #1 mobile operator's news site was a pretty safe bet.
twastudios 05-18-2004, 12:56 PM I've never been to Europe, but I hear the TV over there is very......explict......especially in the area of sex.
I think this article is a hoax.

Aren't you like, 15 years old? What does you mother have to say about this?

His profile says 19, however after reading the following I'm not too sure:
"Interests: Your Mom."
Now I've seen everything.
gilbert 05-18-2004, 02:32 PM maybe this is something that shound't be discussed cause i think the how to is rubbed in societys methods enough
Kerry Jones 05-18-2004, 05:17 PM Yes,
I am 19-years-old and as for the "Your Mom." statement in my profile is a joke! It says "Interests: Your Mom." so I thought it would be funny to add it in because humor is humor. As for my mom and sex... she says just don't sleep with any under 18 and you'll do fine. Anyone younger than that age is looking for trouble.

I appreciated mom jokes a little more when I was 14.
Lesli 05-18-2004, 05:41 PM The article says that they were brought up in a very strict religious environment. Modify that phrase to "very strict, sexually repressed, and overtly prudish environment" and it's possible that they didn't know that they had to have sex.
Very weird, and they're probably one of the few couples in the world who wouldn't have this knowledge (hence the article - because their situation is so very rare and so very weird.)
sailor 05-18-2004, 05:53 PM hey - practice makes perfect.
Philipf 05-18-2004, 05:58 PM Maybe they were dry rockin' it ;)
lorandm 05-18-2004, 07:47 PM I'm still stunned :eek2:
No sex, for 36 years, not even some playin'... That's just crazy
This is surreal... with all the media and present social conditions this is virtually impossible.
I mean even a cave man knew what to do with his tool...
Does it really need to be taught?
