Hi, Im in Europe and I haven't been able to get in contact with my business associates in US very well. Now, it just struck me that it's Thanksgiving now right? Could someone tell me the excact dates for Thanksgiving? Is it one day, two days or a week? Do people normally have day off from work?
thanks

It's one day where we give thanks to our ancestors by shoving various items up the rear of a large bird, singe it, and knife it.

Most businesses were closed that day, and many people also have the next day off. But this week things are back to normal, so if you can't get in touch with someone it's not likely to be Thanksgiving-related.

Crazy? No, crazy is the giant mutant rabbit that breaks into houses on easter to lay candy filled plastic eggs and plastic grass so children can wakeup to break them open and eat the inside.

When I was 8 I had a giant bunny come into my room and steal a tooth from beneath my pillow. He said it was the fairy's day off :D Then he gave me a buck not to tell anyone :D

X-mas we have a big "waaaay-past-pleasantly plump" guy in a red fuzzy outfit drop down the chimney to eat our food and then surround a glowing tree with flammible packaging. After that he takes off in a sleigh pulled by what some people in this forum might consider the best hunting trip of their life. AKA flying venison.

There's also St. Patrick's day where the grocer get's to pull out all that cool green food they've been storing in the back room all year just for this occasion.
