Hi. Basically im goign to make this simple. I want to run a fast, stable, secure pop server, but i would like one, where i could add "virtual users" - you know, users that dont really exist in /etc/passwd ? Are there any out there besides qmail?

qmail+vpopmail. Great combo. Add Courier-IMAP for more spice. :)

qpoper is a cool pop3 server.

I have pasted below their views their product.

Qpopper is the most widely-used server for the POP3 protocol (this allows users to access their mail using any POP3 client). Qpopper supports the latest standards, and includes a large number of optional features. Qpopper is normally used with standard UNIX mail transfer and delivery agents such as sendmail or smail.

Qpopper's goals are: security, stability, safety, features, and performance.

It's worth a try.

Have a great day :)
