im having trouble setting up phorum on my alabanza host but got it working fine on tera-byte. any ideas?.

im running out of patience with the damn thing.

What exactly is the problem with it? Any errors, nothing coming up, etc.?

Have you also asked on their help forums and got a response?

I get parsing errors constantly. And when i enter my database details it says there wrong. I've browsed the forums on the site and the problem comes up a lot i followed the instructions they gave to a T but still failed.

I'm thinking of giving up and trying a new board. Only problem is i really like the features and the style.

Bugger. Hmmm... Hate to say it but you might need to consider a new one (like W-Agora or tForum)...

Have you tried ikonboard yet? Look at http://www.ikondiscussion.com/ikonboard. Seems to be a pretty nice board, and easy to set up. I'm testing it out now.
