iVersit

the site will remain under company control, the domain (which is for sale) simply points to lightning-network.com

Good News!

We've just lowered our price to $400, same rules apply as above.

Tell you what, email me an offer for the domain, I may choose to let it go for a bit less.

how the hell can domains be so expensive:eek: $400?? I'll just stick with my .com.kg's

A domain's value directly correlates with the ease of spelling, recognition, and relationship to business. Say you wanted to sell clothing, well clothing.com would be a great way to begin generating traffic, wouldn't you say? And on that note, a domain acts as an advertisement or yellow page listing. When you think of the price in that perspective, $400 is dirt cheap.

It may seem dirt cheap to you, but from your lack of offers, I'm guessing it doesn't seem so to others.

Enough of this get rich quick schemes. $400 for a name, I'll rather find other ones. You still need to have the name be recognized and this one isn't.

I suppose I've grown to expect comments like these from this bunch.

In any event, $200 is the price floor, if no one wishes to buy, then we will simply retain the domain and enjoy the traffic it continues to generate for us.

Orpheus1539, I suggest you start at $0 and let people bid up, instead of the other way around, if you would still like to sell off the domain. Just a suggestion...

really, i think it's crazy to pay hundreds of dollars for this domian. If someone really wants this domain just go out and register oc12hosting.net for $8.95 instead fo $300 or whatever. :)

I'm so glad to hear you think it's crazy, if you disagree with the price, don't buy it. Why share your opinion of the sale? Do you go to wal-mart and tell them that you would never pay $4.95 for a jar of Macadamia Nuts?? I think not.

If the Macadamia Nuts were over priced I would tell them that I would never pay that price for the Nuts. ;)

Just a heads up!

LOL! $325 for a domain a HUGE amount. It's a domain name like all others and even better ones aren't over $20. I'm not trying to discriminate but you won't find anybody on this board who will spend 100's on a domain name.

Well, whether the domain is thought to be too much, isn't all that relevant. If someone wants it, they'll pay $xx for it, but since this domain has now gone to afternic, please search and make a bid on it there.
