Alright I'm sure everyone is familiar with the famous Donhost. Anyways I have a raq4 server got it from rackshack a few days ago. Anyways I would like to get something like that designed for my company. Now the only thing I know of currently compatible is Webmin. Burst.net has 2 control panels and I think on one of them for the admin they have many options on the cp to give to there hostees. One let's them create domains/subs. So mainly my question is to you, is there any sites out there compatible with raq4 that has a kind of reseller control panel or any programmers that could do it. I'd program it but my only advanced knowledge is some php.

This has been tried and failed by a lot of people. For the RAQ4 your better just using what it comes with. If you wish to get into building control panels then your going to have to get a linux box. The control panel that you are talking about that burst.net uses is called CPanel - http://www.cpanel.net

Hi!
You can develop your control panel in php or even perl for that matter. However, I'd advice you develop in c. It is faster and more reliable on raq's.
It is not a very difficult task. Start with a simple one and slowly add features. Or you could even outsource the development work. You could get a very basic control panel for about $2000 to about $15000 for a fullfledged control panel with billing, trouble ticketing, reseller support, clustering etc...
Or you could consider leasing out some control panels such as cpanel, alabanza, hostgui ....
Have a great day :)

Bob,
You're aware he's talking about a RAQ server here right??
Last time I heard tinkering with things like control panels was a good way to get Cobalt to forget they ever met you.

:) That sounded cute ..... .:)
RAQ has support for C, php and perl. So if one wants he/she can develop a control panel of their own. However, as you have rightly pointed out it is not the same as any standard Linux/Unix box. But not impossible.
Have a great day :)
