Anybody have recommendations on companies that rent dedicated servers in good data centers in the MidWest using premium bandwidth? I'm probably looking at Dallas, unless somebody has another recommendation.

ThePlanet.com would be perfect for you - Good bandwidth providers, good network, and located in Dallas :D

If we're getting picky the user asked for Midwest datacenters and Chicago is definately in the Midwest, while Dallas is not... The Midwest is comprised of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan, and normally the Dakotas.

He specifically mentioned Dallas, so I was assuming he wanted servers in the south-west / mid-west area. But Equinix still strikes out on count #1. A provide in Equinix, however, could provide it.

In reference to the topic, I posted a reputable midwest datacenter. Also, he did NOT say that it had to be in Dallas, only that he was looking there.

Servercentral.net and Defenderhosting.com rent servers in Equinix, Chicago, on quality bandwidth. Equinix only sells racks and cages, they don't do small time colocation or dedicated servers.

Are there any recommendations for other Dallas companies? I think if I decided to get servers in Chicago, I would definetly go with a company located in the Equinix data center.
