Hi,

I'm thinking of moving from Below10host (lots of downtime lately) and therefore need a new host. Could someone (not the host themselves) recommend a fast & reliable one, please.

I need
atleast 50 mb space
3-4 gb bandwidth
ftp access
cgi-bin
atleast 2 POP email accounts
atleast 2 subdomains
protected directories
control panel

php/mysql aren't required but would be a plus point.

IMPORTANT: under $10!

Thanks :)

Ah your needs are similar to what I needed while I was searching for a host so I have a few bookmarked

Apixhosting (http://www.apixhosting.com)
50 MB Disk Space
7,000 MB Transfer
25 E-mail Addresses
2 Sub Domains
PW Protected Directories
Price: $10

Valuable Host (http://www.valuablehost.com)
Storage: 400 MB
Transfer: 4000MB
Unlimited Subdomains
Unlimited POP3 Email

Eagle Web Services (http://www.ewsnl.com)
50 MB Storage
30GB Monthly Traffic
5 POP Accounts
5 FTP Accounts

I chose Apixhosting and have been there for a little over a month now. I'm quite impressed with their services as I haven't had any problems with downtime or slow connections. I was also mySQL illiterate until thier Tech. Support staff taught me how to work PHPadmin and what everything means. Now Im actually able to setup a database.

They have really good support and am sure they can work with you on the plan.

Their 50MB plan with 4GB transfer is $7.50

I'm in a similar boat. I sponsored a forum clubknowledge.com using the PHPBB software. The host took a poop, and Now I need to set up another forum, and look for a host. I need the forum to support my business, as well as, allowing a captive audience to specials, clearances, and installation advice for the products I sell.

Anyone got ideas where to start? I was looking for an FAQ section here, but am clueless.
