Sony Imageworks had fountain soda machines and fridges stocked with ben and jerry's ice cream. Hey, people need to unwind and my school's break room is cramped, has a table and a smaller one with a microwave on it and that's it. Guess which break room I'd rather go to, *****'s or mine? Hmmmm...

Ohhh and you guys should see the WHT breakroom!!! It is Matt's basement closet and has been rather stinky lately. I think BC's been in there eating tacos. I'm filing a workman's comp claim against Matt so I really can't discuss it any more.

when i worked for VerticalNet they had a very similar breakroom ... foosball, arcade, snacks, etc ... they also had a full gym with Machines, Freeweights, Heavy Bags ... everyone was sooo happy ... the stock was trading to the tune of $275 per share ...


it was a great place to work until the dot com bust and they fired 600 employees :bawling:

now their stock is worth about a buck a piece ... I wonder if they kept the aracde games :confused:

Most of them look like high school/college kids, considering they offer flexible hours and pay $10.58 an hour, they probably are.

At that rate, it's either there or Stream

if you notice.. all the people in those pics are wearing purple ***** shirts.. everytime they have pictures or commercials shot.. they force people to put on those shirts.. not to mention.. all techs there DO have headsets.. but anyways.. they suck.. i worked there for a month and a half, took a 1/3rd paycheck cut just because of the experience and i had to walk out on them in the middle of my shift because during "code red" which was really their ****up of not keeping their servers up to date.. they had us lying to the customers and all that.. so i told the **** it and turned in my rsa key, my badge and headset and walked out.. which i'm so glad for doing.. unfortunately.. i still live across the freeway from them, so i see their dumbass sign every day on my way home from work.. on of these days i'm gonna rent a 30 foot latter and put a big SUCKS after their ***** logo.. :)

Seriously for some that work or manage some of the bigger hosting companies (Im not sure how many in this forum) but if you want a professional environment you would expect your staff to dress to impress not as if there going to the beach or a picnic...

Im not saying that the pin ball is bad, and the break room is a big no no, but the way they dress = There attidude to work... Thus keeping up the good standards that most mention here at WHT...:cool:
