How does it work?

What if the signup is fake?

We all read about that fake signup today. That's why I don't like automated signup.

I just visited the Plesk web site. This was on it
The PSA v.2.0 Creation Utilities are currently only available through contacting your Plesk sales representative.

Is there anyway to have it like this?

signup > signup pending (awaiting for admin approval) > admin accepts/declines signup.

Okay I sent you an email.

Are there any scripts out there that weren't developed by Plesk?

So is anyone actually using these signup scripts? How are you using them?

we are looking at them but not production implemented, I would agree with 'netsolutions' that fake sign-ups have to be considered.

The one drawback with plesk from a hosting companies viewpoint is also highlighted by any attempt to auto set up, if you have 12 servers running plesk then you have to build in some sort of decision making so it knows which server to sign them up on or decide to fill-up a server then fill-up the next which doesn't account for load balancing etc etc

Would be nice to see plesk introduce a server manager to manage a farm of plesk servers

I am still really confused as to how to implement them!

The scripts can only be run from the same server as the one PSA is installed on, but our site is hosted elsewhere. So what kind of php scripting could I create to talk to the creation scripts, bearing in mind that you must be root to use the scripts?!

Please anyone. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :D

You know what, I messed up. When I read info on them, I was reading the updates, so I saw only 3 things it could do, not much really. Basicly, implimenting them wont be that hard, but not too easy. I was thinking, I use paysystems, revecom, and I am working on a cgi post order page. From that I could call another cgi script, which runs the needed scripts and you will get instant activation more or less. I am willing to work on this if someone wants too. Btw I would like someone who knows a little perl, I am rusty at it, but I have plenty of books :) PM me if interested
