View Full Version : need a domain donated
xcoredotnet 05-12-2004, 07:59 AM Hello.
I have two servers and I was looking to have another domain registered for one of them to use. Unfortuantly my paypal account isn't verified (or i'd do it myself.)
I thought about this if you register the domain:
250mb space
10 mysql databases
5 emails accounts (whatyouwant@domainiwantregistered.net)
subdomain (can redirect if you have your own domain)
Advertising on the site.
It will be a subdivision site of Soundvolume
(part of the soundvolume network <www.soundvolume.com>)
Soundvolume and it's sites generate a lot of visitors.
Although when we moved servers our stats were wiped out, but we had upwards of 400,000 hits (total) and average 3000 uniques a month and growing since Janurary 04. You'd also be considered a "Contributor/Sponsor" and get a link on the Sponsors page.
If anyone is interested please email me at
aj@soundvolume.com
because I may not be able to check WHT a lot over the next few days.
Thanks. |

amusive.com 05-13-2004, 01:09 AM You can still send payments from funds if you're unverified. |
CretaForce 05-13-2004, 05:48 AM You can register a domain using your credit card number. You don't need paypal. |

I have been with Paypal fo awhile now and thought this was true. I just opened a new PP account and sent money to it. I then tried to buy something with that account..."wouldn't work without verifying checking account information"
I even opened up another business account and used my credit card for verification. Same deal, can't send money until verified.
I think this is a new policy to hopefully cut down on the fraud. |
xcoredotnet 05-13-2004, 03:45 PM Yea.
You used to be able to transfer funds without being verified, but now they don't let you. |
