View Full Version : 2 letter .com
webpros 05-11-2004, 01:09 PM Hello. Anyone got a two letter .com they want to sell? What does a two letter (any two) domain go for (generally speaking of course)? Thanks in advance. |
Ativi.com 05-11-2004, 01:18 PM Two letter domains go for a lot of money, as I think most are taken up by large companies or organizations. Two character domains might go for a couple of grand.

Matt - HostPenguin 05-11-2004, 01:33 PM $XXX,XXX does that answer your question? |
dajimbo 05-11-2004, 02:10 PM Minimum for a 2 letter com would be about $20k. Maximum could be high six figures if it makes a two letter word. in, am etc. |
RajanUrs 05-11-2004, 02:13 PM two letter .com registration is frozen for good.....meaning only the existing ones can renew and continue to exist and they cost plenty of $s
even three letter [alphabet] word domains are not easily affordable |

I figured 10,000 min. Wasn’t even close. Thanks for the info. |
dajimbo 05-11-2004, 02:41 PM You never know :). You can pick up some bargains on these forums. Keep an eye on Ebay also. Afternic and Sedo usually list at market price same as Greatdomains. If you do find a 2 letter domain (dot com) for less than $20k don`t be surprised if I`m bidding on it also :) Another good area to buy 2 letter domains is the .nets which you can pick up for a fraction of the price (Between $2k and $5k if your lucky) and they should have good resale value in the future, in my opinion ofcourse. |
acidbase 05-11-2004, 03:01 PM how about 2char but with numbers? |
dajimbo 05-11-2004, 03:29 PM Two numbers seem to be worth about the same as two letters (see greatdomains). One number and one letter seem to be worth way less. |
kdesign 05-11-2004, 04:03 PM i can get you one but it's going to cost $100k for a 2 letter .com domain |
Ativi.com 05-11-2004, 04:12 PM Let me just get my wallet... :D |
WannaBaHost 05-11-2004, 04:47 PM The owner or dnforum has 8 for sale at $22,500 each http://dnforum.com/showthread.php?t=53171 |
dajimbo 05-11-2004, 05:02 PM Yup not a bad buy if you had the cash. I know there`s also a one on Afternic for $19k (i think). Best one I saw for the money was SS.com selling on Ebay for $30k. |
kohashi 05-11-2004, 05:16 PM 2 character .coms CAN be registered if they expire. 2 character .orgs cannot. Lets make that clear. :) |
