The Verio based datacenter is in Pennsylvania.

The Datacenter has a full suppply of hardwarec omponents and there is a local warehouse of components only 2 blocks away from it so if a hardware failure occurs your server will be up a.s.a.p.

what you do not fully tell us are:

1. Are this $105/mo only for the rackspace fee and includes no bandwith?

2. How much is my server going to burstable to? Well, the way I see it ... you are in Verio, then your bandwith might be capped (at 5mbps, for example) and you just sell the excess bandwith/rackspace you do not currently use. If this is the case, then ... though the price is good, I don't quite like it. Second, if you do not have your bandwith capped, then I wonder: what switch do you have? If it's 10mbps switch, then that's your bandwith cap, basically ... If it's 100mbps switch, then I like it better.

3. How do you measure your bandwith to get this data transfer measured in GB? Do you use MRTG? If so, how do you translate bandwith (which is what MRTG measures in) into data transfer (in GB)? 95th percentile? average? any other method?

Basically, those are the three that most people would love to know ...

cheers,

Sorry if this was not made clear earlier:
The $105/month includes daily backups and technical support, and no data transfer - the data transfer is $1.25/GB.

The Datacenter uses a Verio Pipe and is not a Verio owned datacentrer so the servers are burstable to 100Mbs and we are not selling the 'excess/leftovers' there is plenty of room for expansion and we can easily accomodate clients using 4TB/month.

As regards to the measure of Data Transfer e.g. MRTG 95% I shall contact tech support as I am sales.

Data Transfer is calculated using actual transfer (monthly average Mb/s), not capped or peak etc.

If you wish we can also re-neogotiate the Data Transfer price from $1.25 down to $1.10 depending on the Data Transfer usage.

If clients are interested in this colocation package please contact sales@flying-hosts.com and we offer 5GB Transfer for free in the $105/month rackspace+daily backup price.
