Been trying to do web hosting research the last couple of days (Have such a headache), for a future web site of mine. Finally thought I might have found one I liked until I went to dejanews and read some post on them, Digiweb.com, and they were getting slammed. So my research is going out the window.

It seems from reading some of the post here, that all these places, whatever they offer doesn't mean anything if their service of providing these features are less than adequate. Now, going to their web pages and reading all these great features they offer leaves me wondering if its a really good deal or not. This is where I hope you seasoned veterans come in and give me a hand.

If I may ask, what hosting sites do you belong to, and are they satisfying your needs?

Which ones do you feel are terrible and should stay far from?

Some of these features these places offer I still am a little cloudy about what exactly they do, but again I am new to this but have heard that it is possible to have MSAccess be incorporated onto your web pages. This is very important for me, but not sure what feature is needed on the hosting sites part for it? Or if it is actually possible yet.

Have been using Frontpage 2000 to design my web, until I find out that now some Hosting sites, dont support its extension.

I wont be selling anything on my site, but simple supplying information.

If you guys can give whatever information you can, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks again.

Yes it is possible to use access databases for your webpages but you'll need a windows host.

If its a windows host, I don't see why they don't offer 2000 extensions, thats stupid, but even if they don't, you can still design your site in frontpage. Just make sure you don't use the frontpage specific features like the counter etc You can then just upload it via ftp and it will work fine.
