I was looking at the Dreamcost.com - Dreamhost Admin software. Does anybody have experience in dealing with this company. Are they reliable etc.

insiderhosting 11-24-2001, 04:39 PM I purchased the dreamaccount software from Dreamcost.com and I can tell you to stay away. Their support is non-existant, and the product was full of bugs. I tried to get ahold of the developer Tony, sending numerous e-mails, phone calls, but to no avail. It didn't even work! Take a look at their own support forums, and see what thier members saying about how problematic support is. For a much better billing solution in my opinion check out www.modernbill.com
Fatty 01-12-2003, 07:41 PM Yip, I agree. We bought it the other day to handle a subscription program. Likes of recurring billing and access to protected areas. But it is bug ridden, the support was ok I guess, though takes ages. Even after the fix they sent, I had to edit code by hand just to change a few simple options and it still has basic coding errors in it. We have asked for a refund and have delted from the server.
If anyone knows other good solutions, please let me know. We do host sites but it is not for that as such. Really more a membership, something that can generate pasword and add to http password list would be handy.

First, I should clarify that insiderhosting seems to be discussing our other product, not HostAdmin, which is our product for web hosts.

Once again, I will clarify for the community that our other product is being discussed here, not HostAdmin, which is specificly for web hosts.
