PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A former Oregon governor and transportation secretary under President Carter has admitted to a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl in the 1970s, when he was mayor of Portland.

Yes i know its old news as it has been on the local news a couple times already today at the least. But everyone here probably hasnt heard the news

Anyways i think its sad that the oregonian is bringing something up in the past. that was over 27 years ago.

What is the media comming to now days.

uh... riiight.

the media has always been crap, crooked, boring, horrible.. etc. if it's political, and it can make someone look good or bad, without pissing off certain people - they'll put it on.

The politicians that represent the people should not enjoy immuninity from the media glare
