Probably by wire'ing it to their bank account. But that's like a $15 fee I think.

Dynasty Can you give more info?
I assume you don't want to give someone a credit card number.
You could go to a bank and get a cashiercheck/bank draft and overnight courier it. Western Union will transfer, the party getting would have to look them up and get and advise you of their closest location. Stay away from bank wire transfers as it will be the slowest of the ones I mentioned and will cost you at your end and usually but not always the receiver at their end. The latter is however preferable if sending very large sums say in excess of $100,000.

Though not the fastest way, you could get an international money order at the post office and send it by the fastest means possible. This might be the most cost effective rapid means of sending money to our northern neighbors.

There are several ways, but probably (if you are in the US) the quickest way for the cheque to clear for the person you are sending it to, it this.

Go to a back in your area, if one exists, that is either a Canadian Bank, or a US bank either owned or associated with a Canadian Bank and get a cashiers from that bank. It will clear much quicker.

The Royal Bank of Canada does have branches in the US. TD Bank (Toronto Dominion) owns TD Waterhouse bank in the US.
Most Canadian banks have branches in some of the large US cities. These bracnches may be able to automatically credit the bank account of the other party. Bank to bank transferrs usually are completed within 24 hrs. Branch to branch transfers fromt eh same bank are usually instantaneous.

If clearnance isn't the problem, just getting the money up the quickest, you could use Western Union, or you could FedEx overnight a cashiers cheque to the other party.

I can't remember the name of the site, but it was basically a service that would allow you to send payment to people in the US/Canada from anywhere in the world. I think that would work, you pay them by credit card the amount plus a small charge and they write out a Postal Order and send it to the address. Can't remember the URL though anyone.

If I remember correctly it was intended for auctions, but could be used for anything.
