muppie 11-24-2001, 01:41 AM Well in web hosting terms... if you pay for 100GB / month and not use it all, it won't be carried forward... so the same goes with luck... at least in this forum :D
Sorry you just have to earn your luck again the next time :smash:

Welcome aboard! Please fill out the following form to activate your new Site5 Shared Hosting Account. You will receive more information regarding your account shortly after you submit this form. Any idea, are they in holiday? :confused:
edude 11-24-2001, 03:40 AM Good luck you might need it ;)
:eek: :eek: :eek:
Wait for Matt to reply, i'm sure he will have a solution for you.
I would strongly recommend sending an email to them directly as I cannot imagine any reason for it take this long outside of them maybe not having your order due to a software glitch or something of that sort. Asking them directly will hopefully help lead to the solution... If you have looked through our FAQ section, and still have questions for us, feel free to drop us a line at sales@site5.com. Expect a response within 24 hours. Hopefully that will supply you with answers at least by this time tomorrow...
I almost hate to wish you good luck at this point ;)
muppie 11-24-2001, 04:30 AM Hmmmm poor maguire.. I know the thrill of getting a new web hosted..... hey how about me setting you up one so you can play and "feel" like you got it.... then once yours is activated you can move it to your real account ?... just a thought hehehe
<edit>
btw I just thought about it..... there's one condition tho... that you will only use the account I give you for playing.. not for real site... as you already got site5 account... I just want you to experience that thrill :) :)
OK the other condition is that you promise you won't do anything naughty or I'll :spank: you :)
</edit>
<edit2>
Hey we don't have the spank smilie??? oh noooooo :( :( :(
I demand the spank smilie!!!!! :smash:
</edit2>
TotalHst 11-24-2001, 05:06 AM When it is on or near a holiday your best guess of setup time is usually 2x the time frame they suggest. Most hosts are not in the office on or around holidays, except a few techs making sure everything stays running well. If you don't recieve by saturday then I would email them and see whats up. Good luck with your ventures at Site 5!
Maguire 11-26-2001, 06:41 AM Hope my luck will come soon. :bawling:
Have you contacted them yet concerning the delay?
Maguire 11-26-2001, 09:28 PM Yes, I have sent them an email and waiting for their reply. However I have already received an greeting messages from them after I placed the order. Therefore my order should be in their process queue and I don't why they take so long to process.
We are the customer and we cannot always boot the machine to make them move. :stickout
Maguire 11-26-2001, 10:12 PM Yeah, I got the account information now. :D
