Hi,
I am looking for a small reseller acount, around 1GB of disk space and 10GB of bandwidth, with both client and reseller control panels, and on linux servers with all the usual php, MySQL etc.
My budget is less than $10/month preferably. I've looked at Bright-Byte which offer almost exactly what I need for only $9/month, but I'd like to know:

a) does anyone have any experience with Bright-Byte and what are they like?

b) is there any other hosting providers that offer similar packages for cheaper and are they reliable?

From what I can tell Bright-Byte seem pretty good for support and thay've been around a few years, their prices are also very good from what I've seen, but I don't know if there are any others offering similar.

Any input would be great,
Thanks

Your budget is reasonable and there are plenty of hosts out there that can provide what you need

There are a great many providers that offer the same thing. You might want to browse around this reseller forum a bit, or check the offers one.

thanks, but what exactly do you mean by that?

I've found another reseller host, hometownhosting, that is better value than bright-byte. I have done a simple search on the forums but can't seem to find much about them, can anyone comment?

Well thats exaclty why I made this post, to see what peoples experiences have been about "value" resellers.

Don't know anything about hometownhosting but 3 bucks a month for a reseller with the abiliy to add 100 accounts is drastically too low.

My good friend Ben over at BGFWeb.com has some great deals. Personally I'm hosted on their smallest reseller plan and everything is going great. They also have a pretty decent reputation. They offer 1gb/15gb of BW for $10 a month. Not bad.

depend on support and uptime of that reseller..remember cheap price also include poor support and more downtime server...

thanks for the help xJadex but I was more looking for comments from people who have actually used them, not assumptions.
and thanks for the contact ProXie, i'll definately look into it.

is there anyone who has actually delt with hometownhosting that can comment?

I've used HomeTownHosting for a few months and am very happy with the service. Theres been no downtime of any sort. They always have new servers so the user ratios are pretty low. You will always find the support person online on IM. I'd say take a go on them.

Thanks for the nice words "Templater". We are fairly new to offering reseller packages and just publicly made them available after getting everything setup in the past couple weeks. "Templater" was our first reseller client. We have had quite a few recent signups and maybe one of them will stop by and share how things are going so far. However you won't find anyone with long term experience with us, because we just haven't offered reseller packages for that long.

I take a such plan (1 GB diskspace/10 GB bandwith) from TurnkeyResellers at $5.95 some days ago. Too sooner to do a review, but it's exactly what I wanted... good support, good speed.. and a very cheap price :)
