In the past week or so I have been getting large periods of downtimes (1-5 hours) its happened a number of times. Is this a common problem? Anyone else experiencing it recently? Did I make a mistake in choosing them as my host?

Yes took hours for replies. They either said it was upgrades or they didn't know of the problem. You think if it was actually upgrades I would have gotten some notice. at least once. This last time it took 24 hours for a reply. my site was down for over 15 hours at one time. in 1 week had over 30 hours downtime. ****ing bull****. I finally cancelled. Do not go with them. They have nice cheap domains but ****ty hosting.
