Are you looking to include just server admin panels, that allow you to control all aspects of the server? Or control panels that control smaller, specific features as well?

Matt

What about WebsiteOS? Would that be considered a panel?

H-Sphere can be used for Win2000 hosting also.

Speaking of control panels, what do people think of Plesk vs. CPanel. I personally prefer CPanel, but I'd really like to know what other people think. Which control panel do you prefer, and maybe give some reasons?

This is very off-topic and there are plenty of threads already out there about this. Just do a quick search to find peoples' prefrences.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize my post was off topic. I know that there are many threads about CPanel, Plesk and the many other panels out there, but I wanted to know what people think of them now, not what they thought in the past.

The reason I posted this here is because I didn't want to clutter the forums with another thread about almost the same thing.

Mods, please feel free to remove my posts from this thread if you feel they are inappropriate.

JBIZ718, are you going to include the custom panels that some hosts make for themselves in this list?

I presume Joe is just seeking information on commercially available panels, and custom panels that hosts sell.

Which control panel do you prefer, and maybe give some reasons?Last month's issue of Hosting Tech Magazine rated & reviewed them and liked Plesk a whole lot more. Hey JBIZ718,
Don't forget about HostGUI.

My point of this is to find control panels that are offered commercially. Internal panels will not be needed, because the consumer can not get them

Also they must be on current market, and someone if wanted can buy them right now

There is a point to me obtaining this list, and you will all find out later if anyone cares and a later point

Jag - is hostgui out to purchase???I dont see it on your website..
