hi,

linux boot disk create a bootpartition in my win2k primary C: partition, now c: become unaccessable, wheter i using any dos/win utils ,eg: partition magic, fdisk

how to recover back the primary c: win2k partition

Hi,

I suggest, not to change the type of the file system while creating the partition using Linux fdisk. Change the partition type with the option "t" in fdisk.

The default partition assumes it to be a Linux native one and it has to be manually altered to "vfat/ntfs" by using the option "t" in fdisk /dev/hdX. The option i listed the type and codes for the respective filesystems.
