RackShack is continously scaring me. You ask them pretty much anything and they don't know the answer. They don't have a solution for anything.

What are options for your new servers? Don't know.

What is the price for RAM upgrade? Don't know.

How much for extra IP addresses? Don't know.

What happend to the 10Mb connection? Still up in the air.

It scares me when you ask standard questions like that and all you here is don't know.

The alternative is a provider that doesn't give you any details until all the servers are in place and everything is settled in stone. Take your pick... :) I'm sure some people are very happy with having their new Linux servers now rather than waiting until Monday.

why is everyone always trying to bring rackshack down? i've been a customer with them for a while now, and although i've had my share of issues, for the price their products and service are _amazing_.

anyways, those questions aren't standard. it just happens that the CEO of the company actually discusses ideas with users on his board. as a result, potential future offerings become known to the customers before they actually hit the site. personally, i think it's cool that he posts on the board to see what sorts of things people want.
