OK, I am starting to look into building a web site for our existing family business. The site needs to look very professional and not look generic. But, I am having a problem and my brain is hurting LOL. I know enough about site design to get buy but still not enough to know if I am being taken advantage of. I have had quotes from $500 too $7500 from an advertising firm... is this a case of getting what you pay for? What questions do I need to be asking? It seems the more I learn the more confused I am getting. Yes, the site will need to hold a lot of info, search engine and lots of links but what is a reasonable price?
