View Full Version : Happy Thankgiving
cbaker17 11-22-2001, 01:09 AM Well since the forums official time is 12a.m. thankgiving day :) i thought it was approp. for myself to wish everyone on WHT a Happy Thankgiving.
I know this year was the worst year known to man for some people as well as some business's.
But i think youll see that while most of us have been affected in some way by the tragedy's. We all can be thankful that our friends, family, loved ones, competitors, and all the people who make a difference in our everyday lives such as our police officers, firemen, mailman, media, and our congress. Are still very much alive.
And for those who cant spend thanksgiving with us. Well they will always be alive in our hearts.
Have a great turkey day.... usually a clever joke is what i would end with, but then again im not clever, so ill leave you with a disgustingly funnyless joke:
"Dont eat too much" :)
Happy Thanksgiving!

One Web 11-22-2001, 01:25 AM Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
I will like to give thanks for finding this forum and be able to spend 90% of my time reading all the threads and learning a lot from all the smart people here.
I will also like to give thanks for the wonderful family and friend.
I will also like to give thanks to Osama for bring back the pride in all Americans showing us that we really are more united then what we thought, even though thousands of people had to die in order for use to learn. We are now more united then ever and I really think that is thanks to him. He thought that he was going to destroy us but he has made us stronger. He has made us realize that there is more to the world and to this country. He has shown us that we really are strong and that we will always stand strong. So once again thank you Osama for your lesson. I guess every bad thing that you tried to do part of it has turned to good.

You mean they play football outside of the USA? :stickout
Quill 11-22-2001, 06:53 AM Hostexp, are you from Kuwait? I saw the flag on the "status" field at your profile page. I hope I'm not wrong at recognizing the flag. That's a kuwait's flag, isn't it? :)
You mean they play football outside of the USA? :stickout
Yes, they actually play "football" outside America, if you mean those big guys with helmets and big shoulders running and brawling like animals - no offense, be cool, guys - :D
Outside America, guess they call it rugby, not football. The difference is they don't wear helmet and flashy clothes like americans do in American Football. ;)
People in all parts of the world call it football for "soccer". I don't know why Americans call it soccer for football and football for rugby.
I bet some of you don't even know that Soccer World Cup 1994 was held in USA. :D You "football" freak...
