I'm trying to find some useful figures on the web hosting industry...Like how much $ it's worth, industry and market trends, and forecasts. Any one know where I can find that info?
Thanks for your help...

WHMag would probably have the information. You could call them up or look through an issue.

http://www.thewhir.com is a good place to start.
I think at one point I heard something like $40,000,000 per day....but that may have included ISPs, Hosts, Consults, and much more.
One thing I do know is that some of these places that are HUGE (i.e. level3, exodus) Probably had some clients paying $1,000,000/month and probably still have those people.
Its a huge industry out there.

On that note, I got my issue of Web Hosting Mag. today, and the issue is called "The Death of Web Hosting?" It looks quite interesting and a must read for those in the web hosting industry.
The article begins with...."Once, the world was Web Hosting's oyster. Web Hosting was the great enabler, the one behind the wheel driving the new economy. Web Hosting didn't call you, you called him, and he liked it that way. Everybody loved Web Hosting - the venture capitalists, the investors, the dot coms, the companies that wished they were as hip as the dot coms - Web Hosting lined his pockets and hit the town with their money."
For more, you gotta get your own issue! Or go to their web site: whmag.com...but I don't think they post their current issue on there. I think the latest issue online is that for October.
Kind Regards,
Penny

I read that myself today and thought it was the biggest pile of steaming horse **** they've ever written. Actually the whole issue was below par even for them. Two or three articles backpatting themselves about their Expo (again), and then that article. Pages of bland information everyone's already fully aware of, finishing with the 'revelation' that customer service is the way of the future...
For a 'dead' industry it seems to be paying my bills pretty well :)
Hell, even Chubby Johnson and Bit Bunker weren't that good this month.. Nice cover though :D
