To run ping..

From Linux:

ping -c 10 webhostingtalk.com (for 10 pings)

From Windows:

Start > Run > cmd (or command) and type ping webhostingtalk.com

Carlos, my Road Runner Cable was also giving me a much slower ping compared to my servers. (see above post.)

Yeah, I see it .. so I guess WHT is as slow for you as it is for me :(
