(sorry for my English)

Hi I have a raq4i from rackshack with many sites on the server with my own DNS.
All the site is working except 1.
The site it was to another hosting company and come to my server.
We change the records from the registar to look to my nameserver.
The registar make the changes before 5 days.
But the site still goes to the old server.
I have delete the site and the dns records but still not working to the new server.

I try the nslookup and take this results
---------------------------
nslookup www.site.gr
Server: ns1.myraqserver.gr
Address: 216.xxx.xxx.108

Name: www.site.gr
Address: 216.xxx.xxx.130
(this is my ip ...so it looks good)
---------------------------

I try the nslookup with my dialup provider and take this results

nslookup www.site.gr ns1.otenet.gr
Server: ns1.otenet.gr
Address: 195.170.0.2

Name: w-hosts121.otenet.gr
Address: 195.167.100.121
Aliases: www.site.gr
(this is the old hosting company)
---------------------------

I try the nslookup with other nameserver and take this results

nslookup www.superb.gr awesome.incredible.com
Server: awesome.incredible.com
Address: 195.167.39.10

Name: www.site.gr
Address: 216.xxx.xxx.130
(this is my ip ...so it looks good)
---------------------------

I am going be grazy...
What happen here?
any idea?

thanks

It seems that it is only your ISP that is being lazy to update their DNS Records. Give them another 24-48 hours to update it, or trying using some other ISP.

Is your client facing the same thing?

I agree with Omair, as a rule of thumb I always say 4 - 5 days for propagation.. after that you can start looking at records and errors.

answer from RackShack:

Dear Sir....

I spoke with one of our sysadmin about your issue. It seems that with the nameservers that are showing you domain going to the wrong ip, you are entered in their dns servers. To fix this problem, you need to contact them and have them remove you from their servers. After this is done and propagation takes place you will be up and running with no problems...
