Does anyone know what's the whois server for .tv domains? Does it exist? I took a look at http://www.tv but couldn't find much information... and whois.www.tv doesn't seem to do the trick.

I think you have to be a .tv customer to use there whois. You won't find any .tv whois here, but this page is a good source for whois searches. www.allwhois.com

I beleive thats true...

Random guessing I tried the following


whois -h whois.tv tv.tv
We only allow .com .net .org queries


You can query .com's etc with whois.tv
but thats it.. Very Strange

I think .tv domains are heavily priced by the company that
controls it... like sex.tv if available wont cost the normal
35.00 fee or whatever but like 8000.00
