I am signed on as the administrator for Windows 2003. When I attempt to access IIS 6.0 again, it asks me for my user name / password again:
The username/password you used to connect to this machine does not have administrator privileges, or you entered an incorrect password.
Please provide an account with administrator access.

Anyone know why this is happening & to stop it?

Does it occur repeatedly or a onetime situation? If it is just one time just do a reboot, sometimes Windows behaviour is beyond comprehension

It occurs (or occurred) repeatedly - I had changed something & thought that I set it back correctly - but I did not. I set up another server & saw the defaults & that seemed to fix it :)

I had actually changed some permissions. I had to get someone to go in & fix it
