Ok web hosts... I have a question for you:

I'd like to know how many of you use Authorize.net to interface with your merchant account?

I'm not going to explain why I'm asking this, because it could potentially violate forum rules, and I'm deathly afraid of the CDS :D

If you could just let me know who your payment processing gateway (Authorize.net, I-transact, etc) is, that would be great!

This is the direction I'd like to head.

We use Payflow Pro from VeriSign (formerly Signio.)

A client of mine who does a lot of e-commerce work has moved many of his clients away from Authorize.net due to problems with their service.

I use cybercash. Pretty good.. easy to use

Cybercash = Fun :D


Although... their system is well documented, so I should stop complaining. :D

I'm just not looking forward to learning the in's and out's of a bunch of different processing gateways. I already have authorize.net integrated, and am trying to decide which I should do next.

CyberCash seems to be one of the most popular around. That looks like the one I'll go for.

Payflow Pro is another one that's getting a lot of praise. However, I'm not very familiar with the system. Before I decide whether or not to include support for this, I'll have to learn about it as well. :)

Well, the bright side is that I will definitely be an expert on processing gateways by the time I'm finished here.

Just as an FYI... Seattle Commerce comes well-recommended to me, and they use the same API as Authorize.net.

We use Authorize.net and have had no problems. I would be interested to know what problems people have had with them.

Site5 surrently uses Authorize.net as a processing gateway. We have not experienced any troubles with their service, and their support is great.

In addition, it is currently the only payment gateway that is integrated into the system... although CyberCash is on the way :)
