version12 were sold to some other group, and in all honesty, version12 were ace, but this new company sucks.
They basically stole my domain name and no matter how many emails I send them, they refuse to give it back (refuse as in fail to reply to my emails). Even the old owner, Alan told them I bought the domain, but when this new company took over, they changed the WHOIS records to show they own it and not me (old details showed me as the owner).

don't forget that rackshack will be providing non-cobalt linux solutions very soon.

We host at skynetweb and catalog.com, and they both have servers around those specs for around $200 a month.
Skynetweb has 50GB transfer/month, Catalog has 65/GB month.
None of them provide unlimited IP addresses though. Does any ISP do that? Don't they cost money from ARIN at around $700 for a /24 per year.

I am a little surprised that Pegasus (pwebtech.com) was not on your short list. They are defiantly worth taking a look at. I have had a few dedicated servers in the past and this is by far the most reliable and best experience I have had to date. They may not be the cheapest on the block but in the end you get what you pay for :). This was a very hard lesson that I had to learn :).
If this is your first server do not necessarily want to look for the cheapest guy in town, look for the most reliable because you are trying to build a good reputation people will be looking very closely at your support, performance and uptime.
When selecting a provider also look very closely at their ability to support you when stuff breaks. It important to fully understand up front what level of support you should expect to get from your new provider. Ask a lot of questions before you invest your money.
My 2 cents :)
