Hi there,

Does anyone know a good and low price sources for custome Perl and CGI programming? I need a classified program that can perform similar to Yahoo or any search engine. Here is a URL to a classified Perl program but it's too expensive and I can't afford it. I hope I can find something with cheaper price!!

Thanks

You might like to check out http://www.hotscripts.com - you should find quite a few free or inexpensive scripts that suit your purpose.

Yeah I know. Many of the free ones aren't all that comprehensive, and once they become comprehensive they are generally offered as a paid version. But thems are the breaks. I don't know of any really good free classified scripts, sorry.

Have you tried looking for PHP scripts instead of Perl? PHP is more efficient and faster. you could also check out http://www.sourceforge.com. You will definitaley find something free here.

The other option is to ask someone to make on for you. :)

There are many scripts out there for this, free and otherwise. Here's a short list of fairly good places you might try:

For custom work, you might try Jeff over at http://www.worldwidecreations.com -- solid scripter, decent about pricing.
