View Full Version : "Normal" RedHat on a RaQ3

I have a RaQ3 available for me to use in our NOC but it has a very old install disk. So old that I can't even seem to get the updates installed from the Cobalt site. (I don't know if that's the reason, but I can't get many to install.)

I'm wondering if I can just wipe the Cobalt stuff off the drive and install "normal" RedHat Linux on the machine. I know I won't have the Cobalt GUI for admin stuff, but I don't care about that anyway.

Has anyone done this? Can it be done? Will it have to be done frmo the NOC?

Thanks for _any_ tips on helping me figure this out.
