I am launching a site, and need your opinion.
How would you prefer to sell your web stuff (i.e. templates, domains, sites, etc.)

- Through a Forum (like wht)
- Through a website (classfied type site, like ebay)

Both, don't forget to advertise, SEM and SEO is also a great way to get top of your field :)

Both have potential. Maybe even both can be used. Working those 2 methods together can create a powerful sales tool.

I think having both options on the site would be rather redundant ..

I would start with a website first and not a forum because having an empty forum will not sell things.

Build a succesful site and promote it and open a community forum later down the path you can decide which will be best to drop if you want to drop one.

Sorry it seems I misread, I thought you meant sell througha forum, as in other forums and not your own.

I wouldnt rely solely on any one method, why not use them all.
SEO as someone mentioned is the best way.

I would rely more on a company offering SEM. They change with the web search changes to help promote your site through searches better than your average SEO guy.
