I have very basic question about reseller account. You see, both these sites confuse me a little too much on reseller stuff. Ventures Online (http://venturesonline.com/hosting/resellers.html) and Nethosters (http://www.nethosters.com/resellers.htm)

Let's say I'm going to sign up for a reseller account at this particular hosting company. Do I have to purchase a dedicated server in order to become a reseller? or can I just do it without having to purchase a server?

Thanks for your helps!

Both companies don't require you to buy your own dedicated server.

But nethosters do!

Quill, nethosters doesn't seem to really offer a reseller plan (not in the usual sense). They offer leased servers, and you then pick the line speed.

Okay, then blame it on Nethosters. They tag their service in leasing servers as "resellers", which is pretty confusing.
