I joined the domainsbot.com affiliate program, but I noticed that some of the copyright signs on the site were outdated.

is this usually a sign of a company on the decline?

is domainsbot.com going down right now, and is anyone using it?

domainsbot does not have a good reputation, the people who run it were caught stealing their lists from rival exody.com a year or two ago.

I do remember something about that incident, but I think it was localwhois which was later acquired by domainsbot.com

the people who were stealing the lists were using the name localwhois at the time. They later bought the defunct domainsbot.com domain and changed names which presumably had a lot to with the reputation they had made for themselves, it is the same people based in italy.

I remember, they were offering a "branded" version of the localwhois site to people. If I do recall even snapnames was using this search .

would promoting their products via their affiliate program cause any problems for me?

are they linked to any illegal problems?
