Well directnic offers free hosting with the domain name. but its full of popups.

you might want to checkout coolfreepages.com as they let you host a site for free on your domain.

Catalog.com!! so many people use it and so many people love it, including me! I have several domains hosted under their free forever hosting plan. But their domain price is a bit expensive though. :stan:

considering they're an icann accredited registrar ... domains cost nil to them. so they basically charge for the hosting ;)

If you go with directNIC, you can pay an extra $15 to remove the banner ads. So in all you pay $30/year for 20MB and 2GB data transfer. Not bad for a small site. I used directNIC temporarily before I got a host, and aside from the banner ads, the server was pretty fast. Occasionally it was down, but for something that was free, it wasn't a bad service. No cgi, php, or ssi, though.

i think catalog would win here because i think they support cgi. again ill mention coolfreepages.com who support everything and all. their banner is hardly noticeable, you really cant find a good free domain host so i guess cfp is as good as it would get ;)
