I'm looking at getting Server Matrix server and want to know if 100Mb/s port is worth $10 a month.

I doubt if Server Matrix is burstable at anything about 10Mb/sec. So, if it wont' do faster than that the 100Mb/sec seems like a waste of money.

Has anyone compared their stats to see what kind of bandwith they are getting?

I needed 100Mbps link to have faster backup.

It works great, there is also no downtime when switching.

It's certainly burstable beyond 10Mbps. I've never really tried to push it too hard, but I've seen it easily reach 30Mbps pushing to an external location and even greater rates pulling from outside.

The extra bandwidth can come in handy, but bear in mind it can also eat up bandwidth ten times faster during a flood. If you have no particular need of a >10Mbps connection, it may be better to leave it capped.

I've hit 30mbps transferring data from chicago to servermatrix, it's definitely worth it in my opinion.
