Howdy,
Does anyone know of a good dedicated RaQ4 provider?
I am looking for one preferrably in Australia, but would not be fussed about hosting in the USA.
Basically I need a Cobalt RaQ4 server that I can treat as my own (ie. reboot when I like, have shell access, modify the system, install updates, etc.).
If anyone has any pointers that would be great.
Thanks,
Loryan

I would reccomend rackshack.net if you know what you are doing and don't need any hand-holding. Although I'm not sure if they are currently offering any new servers, they are moving the facility. But you get a raq4 with 300GB of transfer for ~$110/month.

usually dedicated hosting means that the machine acts as yours, you're in control of the security, updates, coding, etc. etc.
check out:
http://www.rackshack.net/
> raq4i / 256mb RAM / 300gb bandwidth = $250 setup + $99 monthly.
>> setup($69) + monthly fee($25) for upgrade to 512mb RAM.

> raq4i / 128mb RAM / 65gb bandwidth = $100 - $200 setup + $95 monthly. setup fee is negotiable(they're easy to work with like that).
>> one-time upgrade to 512mb RAM = around $90.

I think skylab meant http://www.rackshack.net, unless you're looking for Hawaiian kayaks to go with your server ;)

Rackshack will not be offering new Raq's until 1.12.2001 :(
<<MOD NOTE: I'm assuming the above is supposed to read 1.12.2002>>
