View Full Version : Whats your suggestion for 3 party payment gateways?
Scout 04-27-2004, 03:32 AM Ive been planing to do reselling startup outside my country, but getting a merchant account will be a little bit expensive for a basic startup...
What 3rd party payment gateways will be "Best" for webhosting and domain registrations?
I know 2checkout and paysystems has got problems.... But I guess I wanted a reseller's personal experience and there votes/opinions...
I also plan to use modernbill...
Thanks
Scout
jasonkw 04-27-2004, 08:14 AM Well, I've used Paysystems all along and haven't had any problems.
Scout 04-27-2004, 08:55 AM Is paysystem,s easy to use? and will it be compatible with modernbill?
ezbnc 04-27-2004, 04:05 PM Some people report a lot of problems with 2checkout but we have used them for over 6 months and have no complaints. I would personally use them and 2checkout works great with modernbill.
abluegrape 04-27-2004, 05:55 PM another paysystem user here - happy so far :)

Geek3 04-27-2004, 06:12 PM We're a proud Authorize.NET user. A little difficult to setup, but a great solution for us.
webmultitude 04-27-2004, 06:15 PM 2Checkout has not caused any problems here. I have no experience with any others, so I would not be able to recommend this over something else.
But I give it an "A" :D
intek 04-27-2004, 08:03 PM I just recently got 2checkout it seems to be working fine. I must admit that the fee`s are a little higher than some 3rd party processers but the system works like a dream.
SpiralHoster 04-27-2004, 09:22 PM I am planning on employing 2checkout's services in the near future, pending on what kind of feedback i get about them :) Seems Good So Far :)
Scout 04-27-2004, 11:14 PM Didnt 2checkout have a problem with modernbill? Ive been reviewing other threads and they said something about the recurring transaction problem with modernbill...
And speaking of... what do you guys prefer... modernbill, WHMautopilot?
Aussie Bob 04-28-2004, 08:12 AM As an Aussie wanting to process payments in US dollars, Paysystems was the choice when I ran HTTPme. Sure, we had some ups and downs with their service, but all and all they were acceptable.
Shoey 04-28-2004, 10:05 AM I like 2checkout.
RossMAN 04-28-2004, 11:01 AM Paysystems.com or WorldPay.com (not sure if WP is MB compatible though).
wheimeng 04-28-2004, 11:11 AM Paysystems all the way! :)
We use paysystems and so far all has gone smoothly.
crucialx 04-28-2004, 03:20 PM We use PaySystems at the moment, and most of the time they are ok. PaySystems is much more flexible than 2checkout I hear. You cannot custom packages on the fly with 2checkout. All you plans have to be set out in their system first. So this makes it virtually impossible to have addons.
Scout 04-28-2004, 09:08 PM I see, seems to me paysystems is a better choice then... especially for webhosting...
wiredgorilla 04-30-2004, 05:33 AM 2checkout has been very simple and straight forward to use for our hosting solution ! :D
Although I gotta say that the limitation of having to use US dollars has been a thorn in our eyes .
Had a look at worldpay as well and it looks good apart from the initial high setup costs ! The good thing about worldpay is, its able to process in lots of different currencies !
