I need help with dns. I assigned 2 ip adress for dns , basically followed every step in http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11040&highlight=whm+and+dns post.
I checked whois and the domain dns has been changed to reflect to the new dns but I can't access mydomain.com , it says server not found.

The last line of my dns edit zone contain something like
* 14400 IN A 66.232.xx.xxx
the ip is my old server ip. I tried changing to new ip, erasing it still doesnt work.
please help.

Hi!
You could go to the command prompt and restart the name server.
I'm assuming that you are using a linux box. Try
/etc/rc.d/init.d/named restart .
or /usr/sbin/ndc restart

Have a great day :)

I don't think restarting will do anything. You have to make sure all your settings are correct with the Primary DNS. What happens when you go to ns1.yournameserver.com ?
