I read somwhere that you need to fax to a registrar when you want to register/transfer a domain name. Did i understand this correct? The problem is i don't have a fax machine at home and i can't fax abroad (i'm not in the US) at work. Could someone explain this to me or am i wrong?

some registrars require a faxed signature to transfer a domain name. Others do not. stargate.com transfer process is on-line, no fax required. I think only 8 bucks.

Most registrars do not require you to have a fax machine for nearly anything.

Choose another registrars! there're tons of them on internet. Why takes all the hassle just to register a domain, which by the way only cost under $10?

Simply silly. :eek3:
