I am hosting at Raqshack with a raq4.

Load average 1.1, 56 degrees celsius.

Isn't this hot? Rackshack says it is normal.

Can someone provide normal ranges for a raq4 (load and temp)?

I am only running 3 sites with moderate traffic (some php/mysql, little CGI).

there's been alot of this from rackshack lately. seems odd.

i have never seen my cpu on a raq4i higher than 32. there's a few other posts about this, search around and you'll find them.

i think most of them have been at rackshack and they submitted tickets until they were fixed..

Mine is around 28 normally. Very low load. Last week it went up to 40 but it turned out that the two fans died. We just unplugged the fans and plugged them back in and they started up fine again. Within a couple hours the temp was back to 28.

Ok. Figured it out.

Shut off Chilisoft ASP and it dropped my temp to 36, and load to .7.

Didn't realize that Chilisoft was that much of a resource hog.

Although I would still like to use ASP in the future. Has anyone had a problem with Chilisoft and successfully fixed it?
