She didn't write My Immortal, Ben Moody (he left the band since) wrote it but yes she hates it. Evanescence is my favourite band also, btw there's not only the Fallen album you can listen to.. they recorded like 3 mini-albums before that (they dont like to call it album) here are some of the songs you can download on kazaa

Keep in mind they recorded the songs on budget and low quality equipments.. some of them will be on their new album.

I have not bought a CD in quite awhile. I don't like mainstream artists.

ditto. most trance artists don't release albums -- and when they do they don't expect to make money from them. They make their millions from the clubs. Some offer their music to download from their websites.

I just l ike the songs I heard I dont know kinda puts me in a good mood. I do not mind paying $15.00 for something I like listening to :D.

Not bad; but I techinically, they are only average. Maybe less. But I won't blame them, with the budget they had.

Personally, they're an ok-ish band. I'll listen to them, but only after a heavy night of moshing at a heavy metal gig.

I just bought the CD :D Cost $14.99 for the CD. Funny though the case broke once I opend it up =/ cheap stuff now these days.

Can you send me a 20 second clip of "Bring Me to Life" in 192kbps? I would like to see how the quality is. I might go and buy the CD myself if the quality is good. What I've heard was horrible.

I would suggest going and getting some new sources then because the sound quality is excellent....

If you don't want to pay for a full CD, load $20 into an account at http://club.mp3search.ru/artist.html?id=4127 and get CDs for less than $1. I think there have been discussions about that site on WHT before (legality, etc... - don't bring it up in this thread, just do a search & you'll see every argument from both sides).

This band won a Grammy for best new artist I believe it was. They are popular at high school and junior high school dances.

Be interesting if their popularity continues with their second album...or if they join the growing ranks of one album wonders.
