View Full Version : KC and/or STL WHT Gathering?
RossH 04-26-2004, 07:15 PM Would any body be interested. I was thinking of setting something up. Maybe go visit some of the local DC's? If there is a meeting in KC then maybe all the inet guys can hang out to. Maybe Inet should comment here or set a Date for a KC gathering.
Amish_Geek 04-26-2004, 08:07 PM KC... Kansas City? I might be able to make it to that, its just a days drive from MN.
RossH 04-26-2004, 08:14 PM We have 1 maybe!!!
nickn 04-26-2004, 08:15 PM I'm voting for a Cancun WHT meet ;)
subigo 04-26-2004, 08:49 PM I'm in Springfield... but I still won't go. :P

Springfield? Doh'!:homer:
Coach 04-26-2004, 09:43 PM I'm still waiting on word of the Chicago meet. St. Louis is doable though.
Acroplex 04-26-2004, 09:50 PM I hear a #wht meeting is in the works :D
Gabriel Murphy 04-26-2004, 10:47 PM If it is in KC, we will have it catered and throw a big WHT party....
If we can get at least 50 people, iNET is committed to having a WHT party in KC...
Acroplex 04-26-2004, 10:54 PM KC = Kentucky Chicken :D

I'd be in...I am in KC so easy access.
Webdude 04-26-2004, 11:32 PM I could be in KC. I have family there, and they keep bugging me to come visit. Just remember though, I am from Texas. So you better have plenty of beer, women, and ducks (or politicians) to take pop shots at....oh wait, is anyone from Arkansas coming? :D
RossH 04-27-2004, 09:18 AM Sailor,
Hey I'm flying out to gerogia, the last you can do is drive to KC!
Hey Gabriel can we set a date and get a sign up sheet or something?
BandExch 04-27-2004, 04:50 PM We own and operate the St. Louis Carrier Hotels (Bandwidth Exchange Buildings at 900 Walnut and 210 Tucker). Most of the primary St. Louis and regional data centers are our tenants. We would be happy to provide facilities and host a gathering regardless of the number of people who attend. Please Let me know.
Bob
RossH 04-27-2004, 05:01 PM Bob,
I was in your 900 Walnut building the other day visiting XioLink. I just wanted to say that you have a great building there :D
Amish_Geek 04-27-2004, 05:24 PM So... where is it going to be? KC or STL? And preferably in June sometime on a weekend.
RossH 04-27-2004, 05:31 PM Either way it works for me...
June 5th looks good to me in either location.
The Prohacker 04-27-2004, 05:36 PM Well if it was one June 16th, that night people can get tickets to a concert here.. RockFest :D

Who's playing? I'm guessing it is from this link, but curious who else is going to be there.

RossH 04-28-2004, 09:43 AM When I get home I'm going to set up a sign up form.....one for STL one for KC. I won't set a date on it you can just sign up if interested.
belindaj 04-28-2004, 10:06 AM KC would be great!
CactusCounty 04-28-2004, 02:16 PM Finally coming to the Midwest.....Might be doable at either location (depending on scheduling), though since I'm over here in Kentucky I'd obviously prefer St. Louis.
RossH 04-28-2004, 02:39 PM It looks like St. Louis might be the prime location (hey I can't complain), heh.

I say KC...of course that is easiest for me ;)
But if INET is willing to foot the bill....hey, why not!
Also to Coach....not sure if you have been to any of the previous RockFests, but they are not having this one at Sandstone this year. They are using Liberty Memorial instead.
RossH 04-29-2004, 09:58 AM Hey if inet is willing to foot the bill then here I come KC :D
webtech 05-23-2004, 06:01 PM What has ever came of this? is STL still on?
RossH 05-23-2004, 07:02 PM I dunno.....I'd like to get something going....
SniperDevil 05-23-2004, 07:07 PM It may be hard to set a date, time, and location that can accomodate so many members.

Getting Location = fairly easy
Date / Time / Location which everyone can agree on = hard
belindaj 06-08-2004, 05:37 PM Anything happening with this potential gathering?
belindaj 06-17-2004, 02:15 PM Hmmm.... guess that would be a NO..... :)
