I have a small hosting firm and have $10g's to blow.
need servers and a CP.

I have looked at then new hawk-I and talked to their team, they look like they have a solid product. Their dns manager really sparked my interest. I was actually going to purchase the software on Monday. But to my luck I found this wonderful forum! I have seen that h-sphere might be what I am actually looking for as apposed to Hawk-I. It seems to have everything I want and need. The real bonus is that it has direct integration with miva!

My question is what package should I purchase, and what would I realistically need as far as servers go to get this system going.

My only experience in NT and W2k, I looked at the h-sphere website and it said that the control panel was recommended that it run on a Linux box. Is this necessary? If so what Linux should I dive into?

Pre-Thanks!!!

ya it is a full ISP CP
pretty nice but the more i look at h-spere the more it looks like it is for me...

i found out that you do need a Linux box to run H-sphere. Trouble is i dont know how to set one up...

what is a recommended $750-$1500 hardware setup for a linux box that is going to run my H-spere CP? (going to buy it)

And what would be the easiet Linux for me to setup(im a linux dummy) (im d/ling FreeBSD, so let me know!)(also this box is only going to be running the CP)

Are you looking for a Linux or W2K CP? Does I-Hawk have a demo site for it?
